"The Little Lost Polar Bear" The Little Lost Polar Bear by Alyssa Maynard is a beautifully illustrated work with an environmental message. Since the book has no words, it is up to the reader's imagination and perception to fill in the story. Perfect for story-telling parents and nature-loving children alike! This piece is clearly the expert work of a caring individual. Watch out for this illustrator; she's sure to keep you on your toes in the future!
"Little Lost Polar Bear" Ms. Maynard's "Lost Polar Bear" is a fine piece of children's literature, and a triumph as an early piece. The artwork is beautiful and looks professional; the watercolors beautifully reflect the natural beauty of the arctic while remaining true to an artistic vision of a dream-like world of muted blues and whites. But this is a children's book, and it fits into the genre perfectly; without words it is accessible to readers of all ages. Ms. Maynard's little polar bear is sure to charm all comers.
