The Forsaken

The Forsaken, the first in a 2 book series for young adults, focuses on the young and naïve Suzanna Marie Hollendar and an incident that will forever change her life. At the tender age of fifteen, accident prone Suzanna is the shy awkward kid that is often overlooked and underestimated. On a trip to the beach one day, a trip she has made many times before, she is thrust into chaos after nearly drowning. Unbeknownst to Suzanna, this is only the beginning of her troubles. Believing that trouble always follows and finds her,she becomes the victim of a crime that will alter who she is and who she will become. The suspense continues to build as Suzanna’s seemingly perfect life is turned upside down. She discovers that what she thought was real; isn’t, and those she thought she could always count on; she can’t. She will be forced to make decisions about her future that will shatter the perfect snow globe world she has always lived in.
