The map of Germany still had too much unvisited left so almost on impulse i picked an area to visit - the Mid East, Thuringen but there were some other places nearby too... Here is the tale of my 2012 trip across Thuringen and northern Bavaria by bike, train and a few hundred metres by ferry!
