'Mardi Gras Bound' is the welcome sequel to 'When Fates Collides', where the two authors (Yvonne Mason and Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc) had as much fun writing it as two schoolgirls on a truant trip. It is as hilarious if not more as the the first Morgan and Harrington mystery. The two heroins, Alex and Hope, have well-defined personalities, one being the very experienced bounty hunter, the other one being the non-stop talking rookie. I enjoyed following them through New Orleans, from Mardi Gras to the bayous, where, I'm sure, Hope's big mouth could scare alligators away! If you need something to cheer you up, or something to give you a break from your daily life, I suggest you let yourself get lost in 'Mardi Gras Bound'.
