Multi-generation Witch - ANDREA DEAN VAN SCOYOC - pens the story of her travels, her struggles and her life as a real Witch in a world where role-playing and Hollywood fakery have all but destroyed the once powerful world of Witchcraft. Not for those who think they have all the answers or are arrogant enough to think they've learned all there is to learn, this book will leave you angry and your ego bruised, but you WILL find yourself non-nonsense, informed. Andrea isn't known for sugar-coating the truth and it is within these pages you will be treated to not only the philosophy of a REAL Witch living in the REAL world, Andrea has also lent the many, many recipes she's used over the years for living as the Wise Ones once did, to this tome. A lifetime in the making and a continued journey, Andrea is happy to share what she has learned (so far) with anyone willing to open their minds and refuse to be brainwashed.

The Primitive Witch's Handbook is a very good read. It is well written and very informative. It is great for beginners wanting to learn how to live with less chemical and additives in their lives. It is a excellent help with explaining how to begin living a simple, thrify life. It also tells you how to begin to sooth the spirit and the soul. She explains what a real witch is and how she lives her life according to what experience has taught her. I strongly urge you to give it a read and learn about the "Wise Ones".

Review: The Primitive Witches Handbook written by Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc I found this book to be an enjoyable read. It is lightly written and instructive and seems to hold much wisdom in it. I have already made one of the bath recipes! This book talks to the beginner as well as those who have a more advanced path. Not speaking down to anyone, the writer leads people to make their own decisions about what they read. She explains what she believes and why. She gives many tips and hints to the crafting of items to be used in a manner that suggests soothing the soul and body. I highly recommend this as another of her books that is well written.
