wow!! I am amazed at the "pointless drivel" rating... most of the kids I know (the target audience) ... loved the humor and the banter between the siblings. I am wondering what that reader expected?? an encyclopedia reference book... ? I'm sure that the 9 yr. olds reading THAT would be thrilled... or NOT!! let the kids read and have fun and feel like they have accomplished reading a book!! hand your book to a child in your life... and let THEM rate it!! (after all... how many kids 9 yrs. old would say "drivel".... get over it... the book is fun... which was the entire object! 5 stars!! kid friendly... family fun.... all that and adventure to boot! d williams

Pointless drivel more of a log book than an actual story
