France and Holland have fallen. Under thick clouds of smoke German jackboots march through Paris. A young SS officer names Johannes Beckmann arrives on scene just as the fighting dies down. His purpose? To steal. Whether gold bullion or ancient antiquities...Beckmann's sole job is to steal anything value and hide it away in Switzerland. And then suddenly, something inside him changes. Plagued by his guilty conscience, he formulates a plan to flee Germany and save several priceless works of art from the Nazis' grasp.
