When Benjamin Bunt gives up his tedious office job to flee to London to live the life of a bohemian writer, a number of strange things happen. His long standing family butler turns up followed by a host of old acquaintances including his college friend the Islamic fundamentalist Karim Khan and the slave trading junkie Skag.
With a Mad Monk, a talking Chicken and the international crime fighter Detective Inspector Banks in tow, it makes for a range of bizarre adventures including finding the Bunt inheritance, breaking up an international slave trading operation and hunting down the anti-Christ.
But life is never that simple. Especially when the Monk wants the Chicken for a kebab and the Son of God turns out to be a pot smoking naturist...
