Located on an extinct volcanic cinder cone, and designed in 1909 by Emanuel T. Mische and John Charles Olmsted, this urban park celebrates its centennial in 2009/2010, at a time when the future of the beloved open water reservoirs within the park is threatened by new EPA regulations. Featuring eighteen (18) beautiful photographs, the sixteen-month calendar includes September 2009 through December 2010. This once-in-a-lifetime calendar is dedicated to the beauty of one of the oldest urban parks in the United States and its proven reservoirs that may be gone forever within our lifetimes. Premium Edition – BIG 13.5" x 19" (340mm x 480mm) – full color. All photos © Andrew Haliburton.

"Mt Tabor Park Centennial Calendar 2009 - 2010 Premium" Sitting here in sun-splashed Africa, that snowy scene on the cover of the Mt Tabor Park Centennial Calendar sends (welcome) shivers up my spine. I know that park -- it has to be one of the most beautiful parks in the USA -- but I've never seen it covered in snow as many of Andrew Haliburton's photographs show it. And those are the pictures from his calendar that I love the best. When we are having temperatures in the upper 90's I will be able to feast my eyes on the frosted trees and crisp cold landscapes of Mt Tabor Park. Second-best are the Autumn scenes. Guess what.... we don't have Fall in our part of Africa, so those heavenly coloured leaves are going to be a joy to look at for the whole of October this year, as well as September and October 2010. Thanks to Andrew for sharing his vision , and his brilliant photographs, of a very special place in Portland, Oregon.
