I was once told in a writing workshop that my stories resembled what the fictional child of Edgar Allan Poe and Quentin Tarantino would write... It's one of the oddest comments I have received, and yet, it is one of my favorites.
In this collection, you will find a few stories of an odd nature - of a genre called "fantastical reality," a made-up term. What these two words imply is that the story is stemmed in a certain type of fantasy, one that can be related to the tricks of the mind or, more so, the wanderings of it. It is what the mind does to reality that a few of the stories within are based upon.
However, in order to not be too heavy, there are also works of humor and memory, poems of thoughts and thankfulness within. I try to present everything with a type of beauty, and I hope that will come across as you, the reader, reads.
