The Doors of Time

Thirteen-year-old Jessica accidentally discovers the Doors of Time and, with her eleven-year-old brother Josh, travels back through the story of their home-town, Frome in Somerset. On the way, they find that life in the past can be a lot rougher and scarier than in their own day. Join them as they meet some of the people who played a part in the fascinating history of this small, English town – with maps and pictures to help you on your journey of discovery. The story is especially suitable for nine- to thirteen-year-olds – but that doesn’t stop everyone else reading it, too!
