This is a story of how recovery from a death-defying experience gave the author an insight into life that normally remains undiscovered. Having fought his way back from a coma in hospital, complete paralysis and years of using walking aids to being able to mix with a crowd without being noticed and leading a crowd of hikers up a mountain, the author shares his thoughts, discoveries and achievements in this book, bringing hope and a new understanding of the things we all take for granted.

"A bite of enjoyment." For me the sign of any good book is how many times you can read it, and I have only read, “I can climb that tree”, twice but I know I will be reading it again. With it Andrew Ware has written something completely marvelous. He writes with such insight and wit that one is drawn through it with a mental smile that makes the lessons learned in it so easy to digest and enjoy the fact that every witticism and insight was gained through extreme trial almost lost on the reader because he has done it with such grace, with such an unmarked and unaffected spirit, that one only sees the indomitable valor that the man must have. One does not need to have gone through such trial to enjoy this book, it teaches one with such tender a humor it makes us forget we are learning. Yet if one has been through, it reminds us that what the human heart can achieve if one, “Never, never, never, gives up.” Or loses ones funny bone. A brilliant effort.
