Sarah and Angela have collaborated again to produce the second issue of Pasticcio! PASTICCIO is a pioneer in the next wave of a dynamic arts publication arena; with this 72 page HOLIDAY 2007 issue, it has evolved into a QUARTZ: a QUality ART Zine. To be specific, PASTICCIO 2 QUARTZ is meticulously jam-packed with a plethora of compelling (and fun!) information and incredible work from well known artists (and a few up and comers as well). Find inspiration, specific tips and techniques, reviews, art history, and a few special “gifts” within its pages. Printed on high quality glossy paper, its essence and design are as integral as the contents.

"Exquisite Encouragement for Soul Searching and Creating" Pasticcio Quartz, Issue 2, 2007, by Sarah Fishburn and Angela Cartwright, is a beautiful and fascinating collection of works of art from terrific artists of all sorts. The interesting thing is that it all comes together with a charm and ease which encourages the reader to want to read more, and learn more. Every page takes your hand and gives a gentle guiding lead toward the next page. Soon you realize you have finished the zine, and you long for more. Why is Pasticcio Quartz, Issue 2, so good? Possibly the collection of artists who contributed, which is top quality, combined with its style. In addition to the artists, there are interviews, commentaries, quotations, educational bits and pieces, and more. It's not confusing, either. It's just a flat-out beautiful collection of things for the reader to see, marvel, and think about. It's a great way of urging a reader to want to do his or her own creating, after... More > absorbing the contents of this superb zine. As a small aside, the quality of the paper is phenomenally good, which is really important in a zine, in my opinion. I just wanted to enter this zine as if it were a world: a magic world. That is how lush and lovely it is. It's a thing of wonder when a reader wants to curl up to a collection of pictures and thoughts as fine as this and just stay...a little while longer.< Less
