Link, Fairflies & Fairies 12 Nov 2007 by Brenda Tomlinson This book brought back memories for me. I remember catching fireflies in jelly jars as a child growing up in Alabama. They would facinate us for hours in the dark of night on a street with no street lights. I haven't seen a firefly in years but I know they still exist out in the wooded areas of the south. I think this book is great, and will spark the curiousity of any child reading it. And hopely they will have the opporutinity to see a real firefly during their lifetime. Brenda Tomlinson [ Reply ]
