"My 15 Dogs" Auntie Nita's love for animals was heartwarming to me. The book especially touched me because I belong to an animal rescue group. Anita was a one-woman organization! It takes a special person to foster dogs and then love them enough to let them go to their forever homes. I was also touched by the love of her family for her. This book gives you many warm feelings...love of family and love of animals. It takes you to good places! Eve, Riverview, MI

"DELIGHTFUL!!" This book is a wonderful, emotional ride! It makes you feel happy and sad; you'll laugh, and you'll cry. The way Anita tells her story puts you right there with her--all the way from the beginning to the end. I couldn't put it down because I was too anxious to find out what was going to happen next. BRAVO!!

"For Dog Lovers Everrywhere" My 15 Dogs: A 55-Year Journey of Love is a readable, delightful book. It belongs on the bookshelves of vets, dog shelters, the humane society, rescue organizations, senior centers, schools and dog lovers everywhere. This book is full of tenderness, compassion, humor, sadness -- and it tells the story of true love between the author and each of her 15 dogs. I laugh when I recall Alex with the purple tongue or Buster's tail thumping against the oven hard enough to make a cake fall. The author tells each story so well. I can picture Sugar with the bag on her head trying to get to the food scraps in the middle of the night. Then there's such devotion as we learn of Sugar's seizures and the author's loving care. The imagery throughout the book stays with me. I'll never look at another sunflower without seeing JoJo wearing her upturned collar from the vet.

"Wondefully Inspiring and Entertaining" This book is a wonderful insight into the relationship that grows out of loving animals, particularly dogs. I realized from this book, that dogs love without limitations, ultimatums or ulterior motives. They love their human companions simply because it's truly in their nature. This book will make you laugh and make you smile. And you will walk away from reading this book and looking at animals in a totally different light. I'm better for reading this book and I highly recommend it. It's a quick read and well worth every penny.

"Delightful!" Although I have never owned a dog, Anita shined a new light on the love of animals (dogs in particular), and the love that can be shared from having these wonderful four-legged friends in our lives. Her book showed even though we think we are taking care of them, they are really taking care of us. -Joy M.
