Young women being murdered. Missing empaths turning up dead. The Defence Force is struggling to find clues to help solve the crimes, and stop any more innocent victims being snatched.
Are the cases related? Ren, a senior Force officer, thinks so, and with the help of Dek, his lover, partner and nominal superior, he'll move heaven and earth to find the answers.
A dark and twisted investigation gets a lot darker - and more dangerous - before the truth emerges. It will take all their skill and courage to get through this one.

Cold Front was beautifully written, packed with mystery and suspense. It was very interesting, more than just PWP and the plot was not overly complex up to the point where the reader becomes dizzy just looking at it. The characters had so much depth and the main couple fit together very well. I didn't really like how the characters went through so many hardships and that's just my opinion since I prefer little conflicts to life-changing ones, but I'm glad Dek and Ren found each other in the end. There was angst, love, sex (slight BDSM) =), mystery, brilliant minds, and a psycho, telepathic serial killer...what more could you want in a book? Overall, it was a great read.
