Waking in the hospital she knows she is alive. She has no memory of the past, and no knowledge of who she is. She is unable to see or move. Whatever happened, she is sure, it almost cost her her life. Rob comes to visit and seems to know more about her and her condition but will only tell her her name. There is something familiar about his voice, but Jan is not willing to trust anyone yet. Later, she receives another visitor. A visitor that hides amongst the shadows. Jan waits to see what this stranger will do. He seems to be more concerned and familiar within Jan. It is this stranger that helps Jan to discover that she was an agent within an secretive government agency. Even though she is drawn to him something doesn't fit yet. Soon she has to decide who to trust as her life is put on the line.

"Shadows of the Past" For those of you who want a great story full of mystery, suspense, love and esp this is the book for you. The twists and turns will catch you by surprise and lead you to an ending, well I won't give it away. I loved it every time I read it; yes I read it more than once and found something new each time. This book pulls you in and won't let you go, I couln't put it down.
