Our Chappell Family

Follows the lineage of Abner Chappell (1763-ca.1839; VA, TN, MO; Revolutionary War) to Miles Chappell (1790-1887; VA, TN, AL; War of 1812) to James Harvey Chappell (1819-1896; TN, AL) to Christopher Colbert Chappell (1849-1937; AL, TX) and eleven children. Plus articles about two of Christopher C’s brothers, John Collier and Jesse M and C C’s wife, Cornelia Stanley Chappell’s parents, John Wheeler and Eliza Hester Johns Stanley.
