A rare collection of 19th and 20th century historical images and accounts of the town of Silver Lake, McLeod County, Minnesota. Founded in 1889 and located fifty miles west of Minneapolis, Silver Lake was founded largely by Czech and Polish immigrants, whose descendants still thrive in the area today.
