Jun 7, 2017I like this book very much!! Saved my neck in couple of interviews with these questions. Very important book for those seeking FM positions.
May 12, 2017Interviewing is not as bad as I though but its important to talk better than others as I noticed from the chiefs applause to some people over others. The more you ask specific questions the better you look in front of the faculty. I matched to my top program with the help of the techniques in this book. I showered them with questions which definitely made me look interested in the program. Not much medical questions received from faculty but easy to guess.
Feb 5, 2017Although I had couple of family medicine rotations but it is different in the interview. The real competition starts from the moment you sit with other applicants in suits in the waiting room and share those weird looks! The anxiety also kicks in even if you don't have it by default. This books was a good resource for me to tackle the stress and go through my days in my 6 interviews. Don't expect too much questions if you are interviewing in a community programs but still this book will help you looking better than others.
Jan 19, 2017Initially I though this book is not important and I ignored it and was regretting it until I went to my first interview and wished I read it more carefully. Standing between dozen of applicants listening to them interacting with the faculty while me silent was not a good strategy to start with. Didn't know what to ask or who to target. I went back and home and first thing I went through this book again and dam these people must had this book too!! Honestly I didn't get much medical questions in my interviews, this book has bunch of them which maybe helped me with some basics they were asking in. I think I did far better on my last 3 interviews with the help of the questions in this book.
Jan 16, 2017Was tough interviews for me as from Nepal with no experience here. Some of the information i this book helped me to do good on some interviews. I wish I had this book from the start of interviews, later better than never I guess. Am waiting for the mach results I hope with 5 interviews I will match this year. Can't afford another year with low income.
