Mar 19, 2018I didn't want to post this review until I get my official match results. I matched to this competitive specialty in a good university program. I don't know if this is just a good luck after 8 interviews or how it works. Just wanted to say here that this book helped me a lot ease the anxiety of the interviews days. Its way better to go prepared and show better than other people interviewing with you on the same day. I recommend you follow all the instructions in this book and know the questions and answers very well. Good luck to you too!
Aug 2, 2017This book made my life easier during interviews. I was reading it again and again before every interview and practicing these questions that I need to ask the faculty at home. Make sure you also read the general surgery questions and answers in this book as some programs will be testing your background knowledge.
May 12, 2017This book is a MUST!! I will start my residency in couple of months after a long hectic USMLE journey. Apparently they like communication especially in surgery during interviews. This book teaches a lot about what to ask and what to expect from them. Without this book I was probably performed poor and maybe lost the spot. I think its very important to prepare for interviews ahead of time. Thank you for this awesome guide.
Dec 15, 2016Somehow this book made me more confidence at my interviews this year as opposed to my awful experience last year. My 2 cents is this book is very important to help you go through tough programs especially if you have a bit anxious personality. My advice is memorize the contents very well.
Oct 14, 2016Nice to have a book to help preparing for the interviews. Not much medical question but had some from this book. The other questions in this book are about how to interact with the director and chiefs are more important in my opinion. I read them several time before my 3rd interview and the things went good. The chief resident said my performance is great.
