Good book for making my letters look like perfect with genuine information from my background and experience with the writer. I helped out my professors with the letters and they liked this book. I didn't had difficulty getting into residency as my scores were top but I think this book make a huge difference in how my letters aimed by program directors.

Very good resource for guidelines to write letters. I felt a significant increase in the number of interviews my students got after following the instructions in this book. Not only the appropriate content matter but also the length and the paragraph divisions do also has weight as delineated in this guide. Am satisfied with this book and advice neurosurgeons to also follow it to get more interviews for their students.

Bought this booklet based on an advice from a colleague, I knew what I was expecting. It kinda of help you write letters for your students in shorter time. My letters I guess now look better organized and easier to read than before. I think am keeping this book for future use in the next season for my future students applying to neurosurgery.

Used these guidelines to populate couple of letters for my attendings to write for me. Many points I think should be followed I was not aware of. Like mentioning some important numbers and dates. I think my letters now look more genuine than my old ones. Great papers.
