Very good samples that helped me with this difficult task. It delinated the topics and tips to write good letters which I used to help my attendings write 3 of them. They were impressed by the design of the paragraphs and contents of every one. I think it is important that you write good letters so they don't get bored while reading.

Am writing this review to make you aware that this book will more likely bring more interviews for your students applying to pediatrics. The way the instructions and format these samples are done makes the reader get impressed from the first look indeed. I have been chairman for over 10 years now and this year my students got more interviews than ever and I think one of main reasons are well-written letters. I usually don't get involved in the interview process in my department but I know from our program director that sometimes its a hassle going through 2 page letter that has blablabla more than any thing informative. I think program directors search for key points and words in the letter especially when they are reading thousands of letters every match season. I would like to thank the authors for this awesome tool that helps with writing letters and make it look more enjoyable and saves time.

I got this to help my mentors write letters for me. This book points the attention towards important facts the LOR writers might omit and hence lead to lower quality letters. Am happy with my 8 pediatrics interview I got. Am positive that the quality of the letters had a major effect on the application. I think this is a must for any residency applicants.
