I liked the part about "what to ask" more than anything. One of my friends interviewed with me at the same program said I was getting the attention of the residents there with my questions. The 2nd part in this book is not that bad as well. It has these questions that you are expected to get. Not much of them on my last 2 interviews but it would be helpful if I read them for my 1st interview as it was in a university program and they were asking right and left, even one of the faculty showed me a CT abdomen and asked me to identify something I guess a big spleen!

It helped me with most of my interviews. The most important thing here is the questions you have to ask the faculty during orientation, it makes the interacting person looks special than others. Also same questions I was asked at some occasions her and there. Good work!

What a life saver. My first 2 interviews were not easy on me but first relaxed in the later 5 after I got this book. My advice is don't go to any interview without reading this book at least one time. Many key points to ask the chiefs and faculty that will make you look different and interested. Some of the medical questions were sporadic here and there but overall it gives you feeling of good performance rather than not answering the questions.

I interviewed in both peds and combined med-peds, the former questions were tougher and many of them from this book. Its good to read this book ahead of time so you know what is waiting for you in the interview especially if you are interviewing in programs that has lot of AMGs.

Not bad. Bunch of the questions were asked either to me or the people interviewing with me at many programs. I wish it was available last year on my first attempt. I think this year this book helped me a lot looking more confident and knowledgeable. I recommend this book to pediatrics applicants. Waiting for the match day, good luck!
