This book is refreshing in that it differs slightly from most books on racism and/or combines important points in a new way.*****Gabriel corrects the current wrongful blaming on the West, Christians and Jews, America and Europe, for slavery based on racism. She traces slavery back to Greece, Rome, Egypt, and yes, China - showing real slave records.*****She agrees with most that black skin and darker skin in general in Asia, as elsewhere, attracts immense unjust bias.*****She shows how some Asian countries, due to their ancient civilizations do not regard themselves as one down, but even hold themselves superior to both Whites and Blacks*****She mentions bias to inter racial couples, and the unfair preferences a small handful of Asian women have for White Men.*****I really found the writer's way of writing lively and informative, and I learned a lot as well. Thank you for this book!
