Blown away that Jamie Lee Curtis purchased my book thru Amazon. This is her review.\: 5.0 out of 5 stars I am in it so thought it worth a look, May 4, 2012 By jamie lee curtis - See all my reviews This review is from: Dying To Get To Oklahoma (Paperback) I 1st heard of this book a few months back. Someone told me that I was in it. I have never met the author but was intrigued. I purchased the book, read it and shed a tear. The context in which I feature is at the same time gratifying yet overwhelming. A beautiful and courageous woman and an inspirational husband who had the fight of their lives. Lots of little side issues throughout and some amazing adventures. Well done and good luck

Just finished reading your book....can't beleive what you have been through...you are a truely inspirational person Ash, to have had the strength and determination to fight on for others that suffer from cancer. I have lost a few people close to me, as I'm sure almost every second person out there has, NO ONE should have to suffer like that, so I have all my fingers and toes crossed thats it wont be to long before the cyberknife is bought to Australia....god only knows we need it!!! Once again thank you for fighting so hard for ALL Australians to have a better chance!!!!!!

Ash, I dont think you give yourself enough credit. The book is a great story. I loved how it was like you were telling the story rather than an expected format that most books follow. I knew snippets of your story and that of your family but it was nice to get some history, some intimate access and some of the struggle you guys were forced to endure throughout this whole wretched episode. I love what you are doing for all Australians and what you have done for me and others who have sought your advice as knowledge in this area was impossible to find. I am shocked at the apathy by governments and media and even some medical "experts" in this matter. As Leah and you both said - if this treatment helps one person or saves a family going through what you have had to endure, then it will be worth it. Well done.
Refreshing...
