The Broken Lioness, by Asher Allen, is a fast-paced novel full of quirky humor, gripping plot twists, and fascinating characters. Being a writer myself, I especially appreciate the clear description and dialogue. The prose is vivid and engaging. The characters are strong, and relatable. The plot is riveting. One of the things that struck me about this novel was how well-balanced the story is. While it often deals with some darker elements, the author handles it well. Through the actions of the characters, Allen challenges readers to reevaluate their own stance on the issues of love and hatred. The result is a powerful tale of hope and redemption.
