Matter of the Heart

Everyone wants the perfect baby. Ten fingers and ten little toes. A bright beautiful smile. A easy delivery free of any complications or problems. Marie and John Austin, they wanted that more than anything after previously loosing a child to a miscarriage. Expecting again was a great joy to them. But what God had in store for them, no one could have forseen. Marie and John would have asked for a healthy baby too, if God would have given them that option. Instead God blessed them with a very special gift, and a bright and happy baby boy. Everything they endured was worth it, Steven, their son was worth it. Steven is Steven and as funny as it seems perfect. But he has a bad heart. He was born with Congenital Heart Disease. But he is Steven, in sickness and in health. Everything changes though after a series of events forces Marie and John to make the biggest decisions of their lives. Hold on to Steven or let him go.
