An inspiring story set in a backward village in India. It is a story of hope for everyone especially the least developed parts of the world. The book has spiritual content but it is not a religious book. Published earlier in electronic form by a Malaysian Publisher the book has caught wide attention. The Novella is set in a backward Indian village with its quaint customs and superstitions. During the course of this fascinating story the village changes into a place of love and beauty. In the Words of Margaret Marr (Author), “Mystic And The Blossoms is one of the most interesting and inspiring novels I've read in a long while. I felt as if I were sitting at the feet of a wise man, listening in rapt attention to the story of Jag Baba. I urge you to get a copy of Mystic And The Blossoms, read it for yourself and see what amazing insights you come away with.”

Aug 23, 2009"The vibrant sights and sounds of India..." I have always wanted to visit India, the more so recently as I have had the great good fortune to teach Indian students, one of whom is returning to his home country to be an engineering professor(!) in April 2006. I once tried to get close to India by reading V.S. Naipaul, but did not manage to finish the book. I am sure I will finish this one, and look forward to doing so as I have just purchased the download. The preview looks exceeedingly promising. Best Wishes to you! Ian Ruxton
Mar 25, 2009"Mystic and the Blossoms" There really wasn't enough of the book in this short excerpt to really get the feel of the story. But what I did read was so vivid I was immediately drawn into the story. I felt like the author had taken me by the hand and led me through all that was happening. The hero killed in a fit of anger and fled the city. It makes me want to read the rest of the book and find out what happened to him.
Mar 16, 2009"An enchanting novella " Mystic And The Blossoms is a story of civilization. An educated man makes a mistake. Fleeing from reprisal, he eventually takes on an entirely new persona. His newfound peaceful and all-accepting demeanor allows him to bring Nature-centered progress to a diffident community. Jag Baba is a teacher and a builder, an advisor and a magistrate. Jag Baba is a man who understands the cycles of life and has been given the gift of sharing it with others. This is a remarkable work.
Mar 10, 2009"I can't wait to see what happens next..." A feeling of rage led Jagat to kill a man... He then hops on a bus hoping to get lost. Dr. Malhotra is an excellent writer. I can't wait to see what happens next. John Albrecht Jr
Oct 30, 2008"Great literary work" Dr. Malhotra's writing is intense and beautiful at the same time. The short, descriptive sentences he uses in his writing paint a realistic picture of the novel's setting. His prose is almost poetic. From the start of the book he captures the readers imagination, takes the reader by hand and walks him through the streets, wih the character at the lead. Dr. Malhotra's style reminds me of the writing of Albert Cossery. Just as Mr. Cossery, Dr. Malhotra does a great job in painting the picture of the world many people from the Western cultures preffer to ignore. Great read.
