این کتاب برگردان ساده یی از مجموعه داستانهای مثنوی از نظم به نثر است و در هر داستان که بطور معمول در کتاب مثنوی در چندین بخشِ جداگانه و گاهی داستان در درون داستان دیگر سروده شده است ، بطور کامل یکجا بیان میشود و نتایج اخلاقی و عرفانی منظورِ نظر مولانا نیز بصورت خلاصه ، ارائه گردیده است.
