Aunt Julie taught Sunday school for twenty years for the second grade at First Baptist Church Houston. Aunt Julie was in Beth Moore’s Sunday school class. Her pastors growing up were Brother Roland Spears and Reverend Jack T. Carr at Langwood Baptist Church; Dr. John Bisagno, Dr. David Self, and currently, Pastor Gregg Matte from First Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. The Bible is not just a book. It is our guideline for living. We are all sinners. It is a sin to pass judgment on others. It is a sin not to forgive others. Be honest with yourself. You have to put one foot in front of the other one day at a time. I heard a sermon once and the pastor said: Jesus is not enough until he is all there is. I have had times when I felt lonely, afraid, or maybe I needed to help with a decision. God is always there for listening to us. Do not wait for something to happen to turn to Jesus.
