The book is therefore a resource for the Yoruba at home and abroad, as well as everyone interested in wise-sayings and the ageless wisdom they provide.

Ayo Faleti in putting together this book has done an excellent job. Every time I open the book I'm full of admiration of the idea behind it. In terms of the content, it exceeds my expectation as pronouncing the Yoruba words is made easy with signs for those who understand them. He has not only explained the proverbs but has also interpreted every word that makes up the sentences. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to rejuvenate their knowledge and understanding of the Yoruba language and culture and likewise an introduction of the proverbs to those who never studied Yoruba language as a subject. The only reason why I docked one star is because the proverbs are not sorted in alphabetical order, there is a table of contents though. More grease to your elbows Ayo.
