This book is based primarily on personal gnosis, and has little connection to more traditional and historical views of the Goddess Hekate. If you are one of those, this book will disappoint you. This book is geared towards practitioners of the Left Hand Path. If you don't practice this type of magic, this book can still be interesting, but healthy discernment is required.
This is a great book for both beginners and the adept. In this book you will find a sea of knowledge about Hecatean Magick. You will find spells, rituals, recipes and much much more. This book will impress!!!! B. Morlan has done an outstanding job!!!!!
An instruction book to work with the Queen of Night. Mr. Morlan does an excellent job providing useful information to not only the novices but the experts. I especially enjoyed the family traditions he shares in the book, which to me makes it that much more special. From rituals, recipes, spells and squares...it's all in here. Unlike a lot of books on Hecate, these "methods" are practical. Not that you won't have to do a little work in creating or obtaining some materials. Very good book overall. With all that is covered for the price, you can't go wrong.
