This book is hands down one of the most intriguing ones I have ever read. The author brings her words to life by writing them in such a way as if you're in her mind with her, hearing her thoughts as they come to her. I was completely sucked into this book, feeling every emotion as though they were my own. The author never shys away from the harsh reality that is evident in parts of this book, and I found that to be refreshing in a time when so many beat around the bush rather than bringing it all into the light. As someone who has personally dealt with some of the book's topics, I loved its openness and how it truly let me know that I'm not alone with these thoughts that constantly swirl in my mind. With that being said, even if you haven't personally been through anything that B. Roken writes in her book, you will get an incredible view into the mind and the life of the author and those with similar situations. The Skeletons in a Schizophrenic Closet was a fascinating read and I can... More > say with complete certainty that it will always be one of my favorites. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a captivating read that will keep you turning the pages non-stop and never wanting it to end.< Less
