I bought this book when it came out and it's highly detailed and informative. I can't recommend it enough, even for the owners of non-venomous reptiles. It's a great look into the thought processes and procedures necessary to take part in this rewarding, and dangerous pastime.
"Venomous Snakes In Captivity" This book is a MUST for anyone involved with venomous snakes. Brian's detail and focus on safety is essential for those learning to handle or keep venomous snakes, as well as for those of us who have been handling for some time and need to get back to basics. This book should be the text book used for states that require training prior to venomous reptiles licensure. Get it! Read it! Know it! and Do it! Blessings Ray Hunter, PhD Cobraman.net
