"The Governor's Daughter" is a story of three generations of women steeped in the history of the Caribbean Island of St. Thomas; the story of Lanni, an Island Native who influences all three women by bringing her rich heritage and island proverbs into their world. It is also a novel of tragedy and betrayal, of loyalty and passion. But above all this is a love story, of a seven-year old child who is inextricably drawn to one man for a lifetime.
