This is a true story of children whom difficulties could be alleviated due to their parent's awareness. The number of children suffering developmental and learning difficulties is growing by the day. Developmental and Learning Difficulties are not generated in school instead, the child is born with it. This is the story of special toddlers, including my own child, that were able to overcome major difficulties while implementing my innovative model. "Learning Difficulties" I found this book to be a fascinating account of the education process of the author in regards to the area of learning difficulties before the age of three years. She has integrated her academic knowledge with her years of experience in operating the clinic in Israel and the book is the wonderful outcome. For parents who find themselves looking or groping around in a myriad of community references such as assessments, social workers, educational specialists, so-called, who are frequently unreliable and unstable you will find this read a breath of fresh air and will soon find that you will follow up with a contact to the author herself/Ms. Barbara Koblenz. She speaks candidly and from her own wealth of experience in the field in an unintimidating fashion and is totally committed to the end which is to deal with special needs in infants as they arise and therefore to eliminate learning difficulties and their burden on the education system later on. As... More > a parent myself I have enjoyed reading this book and have made recommendations to others in my community to do the same.< Less
