"Re: Re: Proceeds from the Book Do Not Benefit the Residents of Gush Katif " Chamish's book on the Kennedy's is against them, should we assume that the Gush Katif book is against the former residents of Gush Katif? Considering that Chamish has made statements like this about those expelled from Gush Katif, "They got them into this mess, now they can get them out of it. Learn from the Arabs already. Do not rehabilitate the refugees." without ever disavowing them, I have to wonder if your comparison isn't in fact apt.
"from the author" How I fought for Gush Katif. I snuck in during their last days and warned them that their allies were infiltrated by the government. I told them they were on their own. They had to fight for their homes because they would never be compensated if they lost them. Today they are penniless and abused. I wrote a good book and it should be read as by a friend of Gush Katif. I tried.
"Re: Proceeds from the Book Do Not Benefit the Residents of Gush Katif " You're right! Also BC's book on the Kennedys doesn't benefit the Kennedys either, so what!!! But I remember why he said "screw [the people in Gush Qatif]" because he was screaming at them that their LEADERS were setting them up for a HUGE FALL, but they REFUSED TO LISTEN & THAT IS HOW THEY WERE BETRAYED!!! BC made this statement out of pain & frustration, NOT out of disdain. Why would you think that authors of books have to work in order to give their sale proceeds to their book subjects? I think it is more than enough that he's brought the subject to the publics' attention!
