A guide to ukulele beginners, written specifically FOR beginners. Concerned at the lack of answers to obvious ukulele questions for those just starting out, and the prescriptive nature of the tuition books, I started a blog, and now a book that aims to redress the balance. This guide provides concise, no-nonsense answers to the obvious questions that the tuition books miss. With chapters dealing from everything, from ukulele sizes, prices and strings to how to grow your nails. Also includes reference section and a very helpful glossary explaining those weird and wonderful terms that may baffle a beginner. The book is aimed at being read in conjunction with other tuition, to provide some balance, and empower the new uke player without making them feel restricted by rules.
