It was a bitter cold day. The wind was blowing in gusts that chilled her to the bone. She was wishing this was all a bad dream. She was lying in the snow, in the shadows, watching. There it was, her one shot. She carefully took aim then squeezed. She heard the thud, the deer dropped.
