The articles published in this book have been penned by a group of college women in an effort to lift the hearts and minds of readers who grapple with what often seem like overwhelming challenges in life. The writings offer thoughtful and caring solutions to many cultural, social, and medical issues. These topics include traumatic brain injury, bullying, students with hearing impairments, eating disorders and how they can be better treated by medical professionals, how maternity leave benefits business, how teachers can intervene when their students show signs of depression, identifying and dealing with Alzheimer’s, and whether or not to medicate children suffering from ADHD. The articles were written with the intention of informing and inspiring women everywhere through best practices in problem-solving thinking, researching, and writing at the university level.
