Bebe Cook's debut poetry chapbook, An Insatiable Desire for Deja Vu. In Bebe's words "This book, the first bound offering of my work, is a look in the mirror behind my left shoulder. Like me it is simply a hodge-podge. A reflection of experiences that form one person’s journey. An intricate song of life’s fullness, here you will find the passions of the insatiably curious, questions of faith, science, love, grief, humor and a gentle acceptance of one’s own worth. This book is a gift of self, a collection of evidence, a product of revelation, proof that life is simply a work in progress."

An Insatiable Desire for Deja Vu provides an exciting journey where science and philosophy intermingle. We delve into the thoughts of an environmental scientist who is also a poet, storyteller, and photographer. Questions about existence and relationships are explored in the poem Avogadro's Number and love and loss in the heart tugging poem Marrow. The need to write down or photograph every memorable experience before it fades away as seen in the poem Red Planet. "I fight the urge to pull over; photograph the apocalyptic sky. The need to record is strong." I would highly recommend this fearless chapbook written with fire in the heart and an inquisitive mind that never stops asking questions, no matter what the answers may be.
