This workbook considers the stories of the Old Testament Book of Genesis in relationship to current studies in religious history, archeology, anthropology, and art. Using simple "coloring book" examples, reader-participants can rethink and re-imagine the first humans as well as imagery from art history that depicts God as an old and bearded white man. The workbook contains five major themes --- ways to create and use timelines and calendars, the evolution of Biblical translations, European imagery of Adam and Eve, Michelangelo's flesh-and-blood model for "God" portrayed in the Sistine Chapel, and a personal invitation for the reader/student to imagine/picture one's own idea of God --- related to the revision of Genesis as well as illustrations and examples by the author.
