MIDNIGHT MYSTERY

Rusty Clemson and his friend, Frankie set out to solve the midnight mystery. Without a single clue as to why and who was trying to do Rusty harm, they find themselves in the midst of murder, drug smuggling with a Russian connection, breaking and entering attempts plus having to come out on top in the many incidents of danger they face as they get farther and farther into the reasons that midnight seemed to be the witching hour. Along with the help of his family and his friend, Homicide Detective Randall Hanson Rusty finally is able to outwit the boss of the crime ring and bring justice into play. Along the way he forges a new friendship with the daughter of one of the murdered men. Trying to help her and the rest of her family stay alive becomes the main drive behind Rusty's efforts to bring the murders and thieves to justice. The final surprise is completely unexpected but it puts the nails in the coffins of the 'bad guys.'
