An investigation into the social, economic and archaeological impact of the 19th century coprolite industry in Cambridge. The Corn Exchange, old Addenbrookes Hospital, Fulbourn Hospital and many University buildings were paid for from the many thousands of pounds realised by having land dug for what were thought to be fossilised dinosaur droppings.
