On the night of her death, a woman turned to author Beth Green and recounted the story of her life. The year was 1988, the woman was Mary Magdalene, and the story is recounted in the book The Autobiography of Mary Magdalene. Published in 1989, this little piece of fiction offers a unique vision of Mary Magdalene through her own eyes. A contemporary of Jesus, through her book, Mary Magdalene strove to understand the pain of her life and her era and to achieve reconciliation with God. In so doing, she speaks to every one of us.

"This book can change your perspective about everything!" I'm a psychotherapist and a spiritual seeker. This book has helped me and many of my clients to transform their beliefs about themselves and others; to have more compassion, more courage, more forgiveness and self-love. It has helped me and my clients to let go of the idea that sacrificing ourselves will bring peace and love. It brings us to an integrated awareness that we are one and that we need to support one another and do whatever we can to support the consciousness of humanity so that we can co-create the world we have always wanted.

"The Autobiography of Mary Magdalene" This book changed my life. I was raised Catholic and had assumed many beliefs that did not resonate with me as an adult. This book helped me break free of my judgement of Mary Magdalene and my own fear about finding my real self. I thought that being a powerful woman meant copying archtypal dominant male behavior. This book helped me to connect to a powerful woman who did not keep herself weak in order to have the illusion of being protected, nor did she adopt a dominant male persona to survive. Thank you to Source for channeling this book through the author, Beth Green. And thank you, thank you to Beth Green for having the courage to listen, and capture the message for the rest of us. Love and Chi, Chris Reese Fallbrook CA
