ByBethany Holley

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
In New York City in the 1860s, young Theodore “Teedie” Roosevelt struggles with asthma and with feelings of insignificance until by a strange twist of fate, he wakes up one night in a beautiful canyon filled with stone “Legend” people. For years afterwards, he returns countless times to this natural wonder, eventually building a friendship with an adventurous Indian girl named Catori. Finally, Teedie feels as if he has a true companion in whom he can confide. What he does not realize is that every visit with the Indian pulls him deeper and deeper into her mysterious past and into her mistake that changed her life and the lives of her ancestors, the “Legend People,” for an eternity. Then, when the lives of Catori and her people are at stake, Teedie discovers that he is the only person who can rescue his new friends and their home.
