"Poison Ivy" "Poison Ivy" is a fast-moving book of interest to teens and the young at heart. The story follows a young girl through sand storms and sudden, dangerous deluges as she and her new friends unlock the mystery of the map. The environment so vividly described in this story depicts a greenhouse effect projected for the Georgian Bay area of Ontario, Canada. The story features three very defined personalities, as seen through the eyes of a reclusive, young girl. Though both social norms and the physical climate have changed, most of the problems faced by the teens are timeless.
