A solo hexcrawl, with some mysteries to solve. Good variety in the encounters, and a map to fill in as you progress (with a master version available). It is challenging to complete; I would recommend using a Ranger, not only because they are 1E's tough guys, but also there are useful clues to be found by those who can track. Honourable behaviour gets rewarded. In this third printing, only a few typos remain: in section GG, references to proceeding East should link to EE (not DD), and fleeing to HH (and HH2); fourth choice in CC should direct to CC7, not CC6; EE9 label on p.37 is missing, and the conclusion is on page 6; fourth option in P3 should direct to P5. Written for 1E AD+D, but easily adaptable to other systems: it was little work to restat for WFRP 2E. Could be played with a referee as an introduction to roleplaying. One of the best solo adventures ever written. Highly recommended.
