Possibly the most significant woodie
collection ever assembled, the Nick
Alexander Collection was sold at auction
to individual investors from all around
the world in August 2009, so Nick could
enjoy more time with his grandchildren.
Every February Nick hosted an Open House
at his restored vintage warehouse show-
casing his fully restored collection of
wooden bodied Ford and Mercury station
wagons. Nick provided a catered lunch
and collected an admission donation with
all proceeds going to a deserving charity.
This collection of images, photographed
by Bill Gerrard, were captured at these
open houses over the last few years, and
are a small attempt to keep the memory
of this wonderful collection alive for
at least another year.
